- Designed the first environmental drilling fluid system for Unical in Alaska
- Established FloTrend Systems in Houston, TX in 1978
- FloTrend Systems, which focused on filtration systems, centrifuges and hydrocyclones, was sold to Intera, an environmental division of Duke Energy
- Founded Vortex Ventures Inc in 1998, a company with a primary market of producing patented dust-free mixing systems for the oil and gas industry.
- Awarded 21 patents overall, 17 of which are in liquid/solids mixing, liquid/liquid mixing, liquid/solids separation and liquid/liquid/solids separation
