Major components:
- Batch Tank
- AZ Tank Eductors with manifold
- AZ Inline Static Mixer
- Centrifugal Pump
- AZ Mixing Eductor with feed hopper, bag slitter, and conveyor table (Model AZ-SM..)
A pre-measured volume of liquid will determine the amount of additives to be mixed. The Batch Tank Mixing process is as follows:
- In operation, a suction is taken from a batch tank (1).
- The liquid is circulated through a centrifugal pump (2) to pressurize the AZ Mixing Eductor (3).
- Powders, crystals and granular materials are dosed through the Eductor feed hopper (4).
- A Table Conveyor (5) and Bag Slitter (6) provide an easy means to open the bag and draw the material content from the bag without generating dust.
- Once all of the ingredients are dosed through the hopper (4), butterfly valve (1) and (2) are closed.
- Butterfly valve (3) and (4) are opened to circulate the tank volume through the AZ Tank Eductors (7).
- The mixture can be transferred to drums or storage through butterfly valve (5).
